Classic Mashed Potatoes
This is a classic side dish perfect for all your favorite meals. We eat this often with fried chicken cutlets, roasted chicken, or a turkey dinner. Great for Thanksgiving dinner!
Ingredients
3 lbs white potatoes
1 stick of butter
1 cup milk
4 ozs cream cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1.Peel the potatoes, you can cut in half for faster cooking time.
2. Boil the potatoes until soft (about 20-25 minutes).
3. Drain the potatoes and transfer to a mixing bowl. Add the butter, milk and cream cheese and begin mashing. Add salt and pepper. Taste and adjust seasonings.
4. Serve hot with your favorite meal!
