Antipasto
The Antipasto is served at the beginning of the meal and is made with any combination of cured meats, cheeses, olives, and vegetables. In our home, a typical antipasto included fresh mozzarella, sharp provolone cheese, aged Swiss cheese, ham, salami, dried sausage (hot and sweet), an assortment of olives, red roasted peppers, stuffed artichokes, and stuffed mushrooms.
This platter accompanied every holiday meal, special occasion meal, and some Sunday meals.
Serve with your favorite cocktail (see our recipes) and enjoy with your family and friends.
