Broccoli, Sausage and Pasta
This is a quick, tasty and easy recipe. Pairs well with rigatoni pasta. Can be served as a main dish  with great tasting Italian bread or can be served as a side.
Ingredients
2 large heads broccoli- cleaned and chopped
5-6 sweet Italian sausage - cut into bite size pieces
4 cloves garlic chopped
Extra virgin olive oil
1 cup white wine
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp Salt
1- 32 oz container chicken broth
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 lb favorite pasta
Directions
1. In a deep skillet or deep sauté pan, cover the bottom with olive oil, add salt, pepper and red pepper and chopped garlic.
2. Sauté garlic till golden.
3. Add sausage and let brown. When sausage is cooked add the broccoli, chicken broth and bouillon cubes. Mix and cover. Let simmer.
4. Taste after a few minutes and adjust seasonings. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
Boil water - add pasta and cook for approximately 10 minutes. When done, drain and add to large bowl.
Pour broccoli and sausage over pasta and stir well.
Serve with grated cheese and crostini.
